7 Things to Do During a Pandemic

1. Use the Audible App

This app is fantastic for people who listen to audiobooks. It gives you the ability to choose from a plethora of books and download them straight onto your smart phone. Chances are that with a “stay at home” order in place, you now have more time to listen to that book you always said you would.

2. Take a walk

The world is moving super slow right now. Take this as an opportunity to care for your personal wellness. Taking a walk will not only help you get away from stress but will also act as an excellent form of exercise.

3. Learn a new skill

Cooking is one example of numerous new skills you could learn during this pandemic. You have more time on your hands, use it to learn something new. Doing so will dramatically improve the quality of your life in the long run.

4. Play a game online

Just because you are physically alone does not mean you have to be mentally alone. Use the power of online gaming to entertain yourself and play with others, even while practicing social distancing.

5. Express your artistic side

Take some time to draw, paint, sing, or even act. Express your artistic ability like nobody is watching. You might surprise yourself with what kind of stuff you can come up with.

6. Watch a movie

There is no shortage of streaming apps you can use to watch a movie. Login to Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+ to watch something. It will both relax you and entertain you for a couple of hours.

7. Get some rest

The most simple thing you could do is take a nap. Take this opportunity to rest as the world may never be this slow ever again. Especially living in a capitalistic society like America where it feels like everything is moving 1 million miles per hour.
