Nidhi's Keto Kitchen: Baked Lemon Salmon

  • Salmon Fillet 8 oz

  • Lime/Lemon 1 cut into thin slices

  • Salt 1/3 tsp

  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp

  • Lemon Zest

  • Green Onion 1 chopped in fine rings

  • Garlic 1 cloves cut into thing slices.

  • Olive oil 1 tsp

  • White wine 1 tbsp (optional)

  • Fresh dill for garnish


  1. Heat the oven at 400 ° F.

  2. Take a sheet of aluminium foil big enough to cover the fillet. Clean and dry the fillet before placing it on the foil.

  3. Season the fish with salt and pepper and layer garlic slices on the fish, on top of garlic place the lemon slices, on top of lemon slices sprinkle green onion. Letting them sit on the top will allow the flavors to seep in at the time of cooking. Add very little Lemon zest.

  4. Drizzle the oil on top of fish layered with flavors and seasonings. You can (it is optional) add white wine and wrap the fish with folding the foil, allowing all the steam to stay in while cooking.

  5. Cook for 30 mins at 400 ° F. Remove it from the foil garnish with fresh dill and serve it hot with your choice of vegetables.

Instead of Salmon fillet these fishes can be used for the recipe: tilapia, mahi-mahi, catfish.
