Nidhi's Keto Kitchen: Kale Chips

Prep time: 25 mins

Ingredients:

  • Kale 1 lb separate the leaves from its stem.

  • Olive oil 4 tsp

  • Kosher Salt


Preparation:

  1. Kale should be washed nice and completely dry before baking as otherwise we will not get the crispiness.

  2. On a baking tray spread a parchment paper and spread kale on a baking tray and drizzle oil on it massage the oil well on the leaves. before you put the baking tray in the oven make sure the leaves are not overlapping so they bake evenly.

  3. Bake these for 20 mins at 350° but do flip the side after 10 mins, so you are baking 10 mins each side.

  4. After you take them out of oven sprinkle kosher salt and they are ready to serve.

Tip:

Do not add salt before you bake or kale leaves will leave water and you will not get the crispiness we want in chips.

You can also make spinach chips in the same way, use baby spinach for best results.
