Nidhi's Keto Kitchen: Lemon Herb Satay Chicken

Serves 2

Prep time: 1 hour


  • Cut the chicken on the bias into 1/4-inch-thick slices 14 oz

  • Soy Sauce 1 tbsp

  • Ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp

  • Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp

  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp

  • Oregano 1/2 tsp dried or 1 tsp fresh

  • Parsley 1/2 tsp dried or 1 tsp fresh

  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

  • Honey 1/2 tsp

  • Salt 2/3 tsp (Be cautious for salt as soy sauce also has salt)

  • Oil 2 tsp


  1. Mix all the ingredients except chicken and make a paste.

  2. Rub the paste evenly on the chicken and let it sit for half an hour to 1 hour (depending on how much time you have). One can prepare the chicken in morning and just cook when the come back from work.

  3. Put the chicken on a satay sticks and grill them. Cook for 10 mins then flip over and cook for 5 more mins.

  4. Once you take them down of the grill, squeeze fresh lemon juice and enjoy with a fresh salad of your choice.
